Meet Our Two Bloggers of the Month for January

For their hard work, dedication and willingness to go above and beyond, the WM Network has selected two Bloggers-of-the-Month for the month of January.

Taqiyyah Shakirah Dawud blogs for the WM Freelance Writers Connection. Shakirah is the freelance copywriter and editor behind Deliberate Ink. She's been blissfully crafting effective various types of marketing copy for businesses of all sizes and editing books and academic papers for the past 8 years. With the launch of her blog in 2010, she also discovered she loves writing useful and encouraging articles for freelancers. Her full-time hobby is learning more about everything interesting, and she also finds cake decorating and gardening fun and fulfilling. But since about 2 years ago, cuddling her daughter has won the hobby contest more often than not.

Patricia Anne McGoldrick contributes reviews to the WM Review Connection, and has guest posted on the WM Freelance Writers Connection and the WM Pet Connection. Patricia is a Canadian freelancer who writes poetry, essays, and reviews. Patricia has been published with several sites and anthologies:

Patricia is a member of The Ontario Poetry Society and The Canadian Poetry Association, Associate Member of The League of Canadian Poets. Recently honored with The Versatile Blogger Award.With a recent change in career focus from education to writing, Patricia has contributed Guest Posts to WMF & WM Pet Connection and has joined as a reviewer at WM Review Connection.

As an environmentalist, concerned with sustainability, Patricia has directed words towards “green” issues. In December 2010, her poem, Before Petroleum, was published in the fund-raising anthology, Oil & Water and Other Things that don't Mix, the proceeds of which go to people impacted by the oil disaster in the Gulf.
